In the 50's, a private investigator, Harry Angel (Mickey Rourke - Sin City, Year Of The Dragon), is hired by Louis Cyphre (Robert DeNiro - Casino, The Godfather Part II) to locate a pop singer who reneged on a debt: Johnny Favourite. But as Angel investigates, all the people he meets on this case mysteriously die soon after having talked to him. Angel will solve the mystery, and learn more about himself and his client. but will be forced to deal with the devil himself.
