Yakuza 4 picks up the story of Yakuza 3 one year later and takes the player back to Tokyo. The story starts when a man is shot to death in the ruling territory of the Tojo Clan, the organisation that has featured in all games in the series to date. A small gang which belongs to Tojo Clan try to establish what happened and their leader is soon found stabbed to death. These events cause a heated battle between four men over money, power, status and honour. The truth becomes apparent as the lies, betrayals and entwined stories are revealed and when these 4 unflinching men get together, the new legend of Kamurocho is born.

Den senaste delen i ett av de mest originella spelserierna till playstation. Ett sorts beat'em up sandbox spel där man som fyra olika individer löper runt Japan och får följa med på en äventyr som kretsar kring Yakuza. Förutom huvudstoryn där man till stor del brawlar och ser på mängder av välregisserade mellansekvenser bjuder även Yakuza på en stor samling minispel som man kan fördriva tiden med, bla golf, majong, poker osv. Ett bra spel men svagast i serien. rekommenderar att spela de tidigare först då de har bättre handling vilket är spelseriens starkaste kort.

En okej spel, trodde den skulle vara mer lik True Crime Street's of LA (Fast utan körningen).
minus, då de är jätte långa "filmer" och att man inte kan hoppa över dom. Annars är de en ganska bra fight spel.
