Mads Mikkelsen and Thomas Bo Larsen star in this Danish drama co-written and directed by Thomas Vinterberg. The film follows four friends, who are all teachers, as they decide to test the theory of a Norwegian philosopher who claimed that humans are born with a blood alcohol level that is fractionally too low. By maintaining a constantly elevated blood alcohol level they hope to improve their personal and professional lives, but the experiment's initial success soon sends the men spiralling towards disaster.
