Bill Oberst Jr. stars as a cult leader in this documentary-style horror. After receiving a letter from her missing sister, Ellen (Hannah Levien) follows her path to a cult in the Mexican desert. Determined to uncover her sister's fate, Ellen infiltrates the group but quickly becomes infatuated with its charismatic leader Father Simon Leach (Oberst Jr.). Along with the other members, Ellen finds herself helpless to oppose the powerful leader as she is forced to carry out his deadly demands.
