After a disease which turns people into bloodthirsty zombies is cured, the authorities attempt to integrate the recovering infected back into society. One of the cured, Senan (Keeley), is taken in by his sister-in-law Abbie (Page) and does all he can to try and get back to a normal way of life. However, with the cured vilified by society and with social tensions continuing to rise, Senan and Abbie soon find themselves in danger as violence breaks out and the government is forced into taking military action.
