Japanese anime based on the manga by Nagabe. Humans live in the inner land and fear the unearthly inhabitants of the outer land, for they can inflict terrible curses with a simple touch. One day, a little girl named Shiva (voice of Rie Takahashi) is found on the border between the lands. Shiva is saved by a mysterious being who remains by her side to look after her, whom she calls Teacher (Jun Fukuyama). Shiva cannot stay in the outer land but her home may no longer be safe either...
