AUTHOR: Jose Manuel Ballester (Madrid, 1960) is a painter and photographer. He earned a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1984 and has won the National Engraving Prize in 1999, the Villa de Madrid Goya Painting Prize, the Community of Madrid Photography Prize in 2008 and the National Photography Prize in 2010.
