In the 1930s, a car thief (Warren Beatty) teams up with the daughter of one of his victims (Faye Dunaway) and they become known as Bonnie and Clyde, notorious bank robbers and Depression-era folk legends. Mixing unprecedented scenes of bloodletting with cheerful slapstick, and factually based reconstructions of the duo's crimes with romantic interludes, 'Bonnie and Clyde' was Warner Brothers Studio's second biggest commercial success up to that time and garnered nine Oscar nominations.
