British 1950s war drama. At the height of the Second World War, German planes are disrupting the lines of communication between the Allies and their forces in Africa. Lieutenant Graham (Dirk Bogarde) leads a raiding party on German-controlled airfields on the Greek island of Rhodes to free the airwaves from enemy interference. The cast also includes Denholm Elliott, Akim Tamiroff and David Peel.
