The PD100 is a replica of a well-known search and rescue drone used by many organizations. The model convinces not only through its robust structure, but also through its detailed look. The rotor head is supported by a precise stabilization system and gives the drone a completely new control feel thanks to auto-start and auto-landing. With the innovative electronics, it is now also possible for beginners to fly such a model without much prior knowledge. Thus, the PD100 starts with metal joysticks at the touch of a button on the handy 2.4 GHz transmitter and hovers over it with a certain base height by itself. There the drone stays there (in the height-hold mode) and the pilot can concentrate completely on the essential functions without having to pay attention to the flight height at the same time. The gyro system controls thereby the tail rotor and keeps the model stable in the air. Three speed levels are available for more agility. These are equally interesting for beginners and advanced pilots. Thus, the PD100 is also suitable for outdoor use (with light wind) and achieves high speeds in the forward flight. For landing, you can press the start/landing button on the transmitter again: The model sinks gently back to the ground. The motor has soft start-up and soft-cut. This means that during the start the rotor rotates slowly and prevents the model from turning away on its own axis. The same applies when landing: The rotor runs slowly, the motor is automatically switched off. As an additional safety feature, the PD100 has a voltage monitoring feature that constantly checks the battery during flight. Once the basic voltage is reached, the LED light starts flashing and signals that it is to be charged as soon as possible. If the pilot does not react, the system automatically takes over the landing to protect the battery. The PD100 is as good as it is ready for use after unpacking All you have to do is charge the battery and install the APP to control the camera - and off you go. The smartphone is installed on the remote control using the holder supplied, so you get the live picture right in front of you. With the LiPo battery 1S 7.4V 580mAh flight times of up to 15 minutes is possible. Via the USB-charging cable the PD100 is ready to fly again quickly after extensive manouvers.The drone can be flown via remote control as well as via the APP. This is done by connecting your smartphone to the drone using Wi-Fi.
