RIOT - Civil Unrests creator, Leonard Menchiari, personally experienced riots during the NoTAV protests in Italy. He created the game to recreate the stories and express the emotions he experienced during those clashes. What causes a crowd to act with such anger and aggression? Often outnumbered, how do the police feel during a conflict like this? RIOT - Civil Unrest gives the player the opportunity to experience both sides of the fight - a fight where no one really wins.
