At the end of the 20th century... A large-scale natural disaster struck the eastern part of a certain country. The disaster wiped out the financial sector and toppled high-rise buildings over a large area, even as far as the capitals main functions. This resulted in the loss of a staggering 158,000 lives.

In the early 2000s... The PROBE-NEXUS conglomerate, commonly known as Probe, begins reconstruction work in the eastern part of the country. Probe moves its own base of operations to the destroyed sector and builds a huge city run by the company. Lavish with colossal capital and cutting-edge technology, modern Babylon consists of skyscrapers that put the high-rises of old to shame, the largest shopping mall in the world, and recreational facilities that could be mistaken for an amusement park. This was the dazzling birth of a symbol of the new century. It became the most important place on the planet and was named Zone Prime.
