James Garner, Eva Marie Saint and Rod Taylor star in this 1960s thriller directed by George Seaton. In June 1944, US Army Major Jefferson Pike (Garner) is captured by the Nazis while on a mission in Portugal. After he is transported to a military hospital, the Germans convince Pike that he has been experiencing memory loss and he has awoken in 1950 following an Allied victory. The Germans use their elaborate deception to discover the location of an imminent Allied invasion, but it's not long before Pike uncovers the ruse and attempts to escape his captors.
