Julia Ducournaus Alpha is an intense body-horror drama following a young girl struck by a mysterious disease that transforms her flesh and fractures her familys reality. Blending psychological dread with Ducournaus signature visceral style, the film explores fear, stigma, and metamorphosis through a haunting European arthouse lens. With strong performances and symbolic horror imagery, Alpha stands as a bold fusion of body terror and emotional trauma.
