Based on Ryo Shirakomes light novel series, Arifureta: From Commonplace to Worlds Strongest follows Hajime Nagumo, who is transported to a fantasy world with his classmates but receives a seemingly ordinary ability while the others gain powerful combat skills. Betrayed during a dungeon expedition and left for dead, Hajime survives by transforming himself, creating increasingly powerful weapons and joining forces with the vampire Yue. Across three seasons, the anime combines isekai fantasy, dungeon exploration and action as Hajime searches for ancient magic that could provide a way back to Earth.
