Banshee (2013 2016)

Banshee follows an ex-con who assumes the identity of a murdered sheriff in a small Pennsylvania town, becoming entangled in local crime, corruption, and long-buried conflicts. The series blends intense action with character-driven drama, exploring themes of identity, revenge, and the consequences of living a fabricated life. Its stylized violence, tight pacing, and focus on community tensions shape a distinctive modern neo-noir thriller.
