color

weight

Prestanda

The type of glass and the geometric design of the prisms used to reflect light, which affects image quality and the size of the unit (e.g., BaK-4 Roof or BK-7 Porro).

Prismor

The colour e.g. red, blue, green, black, white.

Produktens färg

What the casing of the product is made of.

Material, hölje

The type of chemical layer applied to the optical glass to improve light transmission or protect against environmental factors (e.g. Fully Multi Coated).

Lins beläggning

The actual angular width of the area visible through the optics, typically measured in degrees.

Verkligt bildfält

The width of the area visible through the optics when observing an object at a distance of 1000 metres.

Synfält (på 1 000 m avstånd)

The minimum distance from the device at which a subject can be brought into sharp focus, measured in m.

Närmsta fokusavstånd

The distance from the rear surface of the eyepiece to the point where the viewer can see the entire field of view without obstruction, measured in millimetres (e.g. 15).

Ögonmussla

The product is protected from water, staying dry if liquid is spilt on it or it gets wet in the rain.

Vattentät

The maximum depth to which the product can be submerged without water penetrating the casing, measured in m.

Vattentät upp till

The product can be folded and so can be stored/transported more easily.

Hopfällbar

The degree to which something is or can be magnified (made to appear larger than it is).

Förstoring

Objektivlins diameter

A numerical value that indicates the product's ability to gather light and provide a clear image in low-light conditions.

Twilight faktor

The mechanism used to deploy or retract the eyecups for comfortable viewing (e.g., Fold-down or Twist-out).

Typ av ögonmussla

Indicates whether the distance between the optical centers of the lenses can be modified to match the distance between the user's pupils.

Justerbart pupillavstånd

The minimum distance between the centers of the two optical lenses, measured in millimetres.

Pupillavstånd (min)

The maximum adjustable distance between the centers of the lenses or displays, measured in millimetres.

Pupillavstånd (max)

Vikt & dimension

The measurement or extent of something from side to side.

Bredd

The distance from the front to the back of something.

Djup
