Silent comedy starring Buster Keaton, Margaret Leahy and Wallace Beery. Over three different historical periods - the Stone Age, the Roman Empire and 1920s America - The Boy (Keaton) battles The Villain (Beery) to win the hand of The Girl (Leahy). While The Boy might not be as strong as The Villain, he is cleverer, and proves adept at winning The Girl's heart each time.
