Directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp, Eva Green, Michelle Pfeiffer and Helena Bonham Carter, Dark Shadows is a gothic fantasy comedy based on the cult television series. Depp plays vampire Barnabas Collins, freed from his tomb after nearly two centuries and returning to his family estate in 1972, where he again encounters the witch Angelique who cursed him. The film combines supernatural horror, dark comedy and Tim Burtons characteristic gothic fantasy.
