Directed by Matt Reeves and starring Andy Serkis and Jason Clarke, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes continues the sci-fi franchise through a fragile conflict between surviving humans and Caesars growing ape civilization following a global collapse. Set years after the events of Rise of the Planet of the Apes, the film combines dystopian science fiction, large-scale action and survival-driven tension as both sides struggle over trust, territory and coexistence. The story explores leadership, war escalation and the collapse of communication between species within a post-apocalyptic world.
