Deadpool (2016)
Directed by Tim Miller, Deadpool follows Wade Wilson, a former Special Forces operative who becomes an irreverent, self-aware antihero after an experimental treatment leaves him disfigured but nearly indestructible. The film blends superhero action with meta-humor, genre parody, and a direct-to-audience narrative style that reshaped the tone of R-rated comic-book cinema. Its unconventional structure and sharp comedic voice set it apart within the superhero landscape of the 2010s.

Deadpool 2 (2018)
Deadpool 2, directed by David Leitch, expands the characters world as Wade forms a makeshift team to protect a teenager from the time-traveling soldier Cable. The film mixes stylized action with themes of grief, chosen family, and moral responsibility while maintaining the series self-referential humor and genre deconstruction. Its balance of emotional stakes and anarchic comedy deepened Deadpools role within contemporary superhero storytelling.

Deadpool & Wolverine (2024)
Directed by Shawn Levy, Deadpool & Wolverine brings Deadpool into the broader MCU as he crosses paths with a reluctant, alternate-timeline Wolverine. The film blends multiverse-driven narrative chaos with character-centered humor, exploring the clash between Deadpools meta sensibility and Wolverines brooding intensity. Its mixture of franchise self-awareness, action spectacle, and legacy-character interplay positions it as a pivotal crossover entry in Marvels evolving continuity.
