Directed by Giulio Questi, Death Laid an Egg (1968) is one of the most experimental entries in Italian Giallo cinema a bizarre fusion of murder mystery, erotic tension, and corporate satire. Set inside a futuristic chicken farm, the film explores alienation, capitalism, and identity through surreal imagery and fragmented editing, standing as a cult landmark of late-1960s Euro thrillers.
