CHARACTERISTICS

Drill body - Made of the highest quality steel, this ensures the pipe has the right stiffness while maintaining the ability to withstand high stresses that occur during drilling. Induction brazing - Induction brazing technique and silver alloy solder provide a connection that ensures high flexibility and stress resistance and facilitates the regeneration process without the need to shorten the body.

Turbo segment - High-class diamond segments, made from the best components on the market and a proven formula, ensure the optimal ratio of drilling speed to segment life. The appropriate shape of the segment allows for free flow of water and thus rapid flushing of cuttings from the drilled hole and optimal cooling of the drill.

MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDATIONS

The crown is designed for wet work. The water stream should continuously cool the diamond segments to prevent overheating.

The crown should be drilled perpendicular (at 90 degrees) to the surface being drilled.

The crown should not be drilled too fast, and in some hard materials, additional breaks should be taken to let the diamond segments cool down.

‼ MOST COMMON ERRORS DURING WORK

Lack of water cooling – the surest way to burn the drill.

Too much pressure – causes the segments to crumble instead of cutting.

Too high RPM – overheating and rapid wear of the diamond.

Improper setting – lateral runout destroys the segments.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Preparation of the site

• Check if there are no electrical wires or pipes at the drilling location (use a detector).
• Secure the drill rig firmly to the ground.
• Make sure you have access to water supply – cooling is mandatory.

2. Preparation of the equipment

• Check the condition of the core drill bit – the diamond segments must be even and not cracked.
• Make sure the drill bit is tightly screwed.
• Connect the water supply – a continuous stream of water will cool the crown and flush out the cuttings.
• Put on personal protective equipment: safety glasses, ear protection, gloves, dust mask.

3. Starting the drilling

• Set the drill bit exactly on the axis of the hole.
• Start drilling at low RPM, lightly pressing – so that the crown "bites" into the concrete.
• After entering a few millimeters, you can increase the speed, but do not press too hard – the diamond cuts the material, not the pressing force.

4. Actual drilling

• Maintain a constant water supply (clear water with cuttings is a sign that cooling is working).
• Do not overheat the crown – lack of water, dust instead of sludge or smoke is an alarm signal.
• If you are drilling deep – from time to time, pull the crown slightly to remove the cuttings.
• If the crown starts to cut worse – do not press harder. This usually means:

- insufficient cooling,

- improper RPM (too high/too low),

- segment sticking – then you need to do so-called "drilling through in a soft material" (e.g., in brick or silicate block) to expose the diamonds.

5. Ending the work

• After drilling the hole, turn off the rotation and water only after the crown has completely stopped.
• Clean the tool and check the condition of the segments.
• If the crown is overheated (segments smooth, without visible diamond grains) – it must be regenerated or use drilling through in a soft material.
