Digimon Tamers follows Takato Matsuki, a young fan of the Digimon card game whose own creation, Guilmon, unexpectedly becomes real. Together with fellow Tamers Henry and Rika, he discovers that Digimon are genuine digital beings capable of crossing into the human world, leading to conflicts that eventually take the group into the Digital World itself. The third Digimon TV series begins a new continuity and combines monster battles and adventure with a stronger focus on digital technology, the relationship between humans and Digimon, and the increasingly dangerous D-Reaper threat.
