Years after surviving the horrors of the Overlook Hotel, a grown-up Danny Torrance struggles with trauma, alcoholism, and his psychic shining. When he encounters a young girl with even stronger powers, the two are hunted by a cult that feeds on gifted children. Mixing psychological horror, supernatural suspense, and Kings folklore of psychic powers, the film bridges The Shinings Gothic legacy with a modern dark fantasy battle.

Från IMDB:
Years following the events of The Shining (1980), a now-adult Dan Torrance must protect a young girl with similar powers from a cult known as The True Knot, who prey on children with powers to remain immortal.
