Brian De Palmas Domino (2019), starring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Carice van Houten, is a European terrorism thriller about two Copenhagen police officers drawn into a CIA operation hunting an ISIS militant. Mixing political intrigue with De Palmas trademark surveillance motifs and split-focus tension, the film follows a trail of conspiracies across Denmark, Spain, and Belgium. Despite its troubled production, Domino functions as a stylized, espionage-tinged chase thriller set against the backdrop of modern terror networks.
