Directed by Sheldon Lettich and starring Jean-Claude Van Damme in a dual role, Double Impact follows twin brothers separated after the murder of their parents who reunite years later to take revenge against the criminals responsible. Set between Hong Kong and the United States, the film combines martial arts action, explosive shootouts and undercover-style criminal conflict with the muscular action style associated with early 1990s Van Damme films.

After Jean-Claude Van Dammes breakout film Bloodsport (1988) which was quickly followed by popular hits like Cyborg (1989) and Kickboxer (1989), the Belgian martial arts legend returned for Double Impact (1991), presenting us with a dual-role piece of hi-octane fight fun.

Playing both Chad and Alex, two long-lost twin brothers who reluctantly join forces to fight the evil triads, the muscles from Brussels delivers twice the thrills in this fast action thriller which seldom disappoints.
