Directed by Lee Cronin, Evil Dead Rise is the fifth film in the Evil Dead franchise created by Sam Raimi. Lily Sullivan and Alyssa Sutherland star in a demonic possession horror film that moves the series from the cabin-in-the-woods setting to a Los Angeles apartment building. Produced by Sam Raimi, Robert Tapert and Bruce Campbell, the film continues the franchises mix of Deadites, the Book of the Dead, graphic violence and occult supernatural horror.
