Proper installation should be performed by a qualified specialist with appropriate knowledge of these products. The following points are only guidelines:
1) For safe and proper installation of wheel spacers or adapters, a torque wrench is required (without using pneumatic tools). Before installation, all corrosion from the hub and vehicle disc must be removed using sandpaper, wire brush, or wire disc to ensure proper centering and seating of the spacer.
2) Make sure that the spacer or adapter fits completely against the vehicle hub and that the wheel fits completely against the surface of the spacer.
3) Make sure that the spacers or adapters have studs with the same thread pitch as the studs in your vehicle. If not, additional nuts will be necessary.
4) The original studs of your vehicle may be longer than the thickness of the spacer. In this case, you have several options:
- The original studs can be shortened or replaced with shorter ones
- The wheels may have pockets or recesses between the mounting holes. If these pockets are sufficiently large and properly shaped to accommodate the studs, modification will not be necessary
5) Never mount wheels on spacers if the original vehicle studs contact the back of the wheel. Make sure that the back of the wheel fits completely against the surface of the spacer

In the case of Suzuki Jimny with manual hub clutches, the centering lip may hinder the installation of spacers on the front axle. We recommend purchasing spacers without a lip for the front and with a lip for the rear.
