Created by Ryan Condal and George R.R. Martin, House of the Dragon stars Emma DArcy, Matt Smith and Olivia Cooke in the story of House Targaryen and the struggle for succession to the Iron Throne. Based on George R.R. Martins Fire & Blood and set around 200 years before Game of Thrones, the series follows the rival Targaryen factions as their dynastic conflict develops into civil war. The series received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Drama Series and has won two Emmys.
