1980s British horror starring Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing and John Carradine. A young writer, Kenneth Magee (Desi Arnaz Jr.), is dared by his mischievous publisher, Sam Allyson (Richard Todd), to head to a remote country house and write a ghost story along the lines of Emily Bronte's 'Wuthering Heights' in just 24 hours. Magee accepts and heads to an old uninhabited Welsh mansion where the frightening characters may not be confined to the pages of his book...
