John Sturges Ice Station Zebra (1968) is a Cold War espionage epic adapted from Alistair MacLeans novel. When an American nuclear submarine races beneath the Arctic ice to reach a British weather outpost, its crew discovers hidden agendas, double agents, and a Soviet confrontation waiting in the frozen north. Lavish MGM scope and classic intrigue make it one of the great Technicolor submarine thrillers of the 1960s.
