Directed by Richard Attenborough, In Love and War stars Sandra Bullock and Chris ODonnell in a romantic drama inspired by Ernest Hemingways wartime experiences in Italy during World War I. Based on the book Hemingway in Love and War, the film follows the young Hemingway after he is wounded as an ambulance driver and falls in love with Red Cross nurse Agnes von Kurowsky.
