Jackie Brown is a character-driven crime film directed by Quentin Tarantino, starring Pam Grier in a career-defining role alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Forster. Built around a carefully orchestrated smuggling scheme, the film favors dialogue, tension, and shifting alliances over violence or spectacle.
