Jon M. Chus Jem and the Holograms (2015) reimagines the 1980s animated series as a modern teen pop-stardom story. Aubrey Peeples stars as a shy musician who becomes an overnight sensation, navigating fame, family dynamics, and creative identity. The film blends coming-of-age drama with musical performance and light comedic energy aimed at a young audience. It offers a glossy, contemporary take on sisterhood, self-expression, and the pressures of celebrity culture.

Från IMDB:
