Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) is a stylized revenge-driven action film following a former assassin who embarks on a violent quest against her former team. The film is heavily influenced by martial arts cinema, Japanese exploitation, and samurai films, with an emphasis on choreographed combat and graphic violence. Told in a fragmented structure, it prioritizes momentum, spectacle, and visual storytelling. The film represents the action-heavy half of Tarantinos two-part revenge saga.
