Directed by Wes Ball, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes continues the sci-fi franchise generations after Caesars era, following a young ape who becomes involved in a growing conflict between rival ape societies and surviving humans. Starring Owen Teague and Freya Allan, the film combines dystopian science fiction, large-scale action and civilization-building themes within a world where ape culture has evolved after humanitys collapse. The story explores power, legacy and control in a post-apocalyptic future shaped by the events of the earlier Planet of the Apes films.
