Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, One Battle After Another (2025) stars Leonardo DiCaprio in a story about former revolutionaries who reunite when the daughter of one of them is kidnapped by an old enemy. Inspired by Thomas Pynchons novel Vineland, the film blends political themes with action and dark humor. The film won six Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay at the 2026 Oscars.
