Directed by David Lai and starring Jet Li, Operation Scorpio follows a skilled martial artist who becomes drawn into violent criminal conflict after attempting to leave his past behind. Combining martial arts action, underworld rivalry and revenge-driven storytelling, the film mixes traditional Hong Kong fight choreography with the fast-paced action style associated with early 1990s Hong Kong cinema. The story centers on loyalty, betrayal and escalating confrontations within a criminal environment tied to the deadly Scorpion Gang.
