Steven Soderberghs Out of Sight (1998), adapted from Elmore Leonards novel, stars George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez in a stylish mix of crime, romance, and suspense. When a charismatic bank robber (Clooney) escapes prison and crosses paths with a determined U.S. Marshal (Lopez), their cat-and-mouse chase turns into a simmering attraction. With sharp dialogue, slick heist energy, and a neo-noir vibe, it remains one of Soderberghs defining films.
