Directed by Naoyuki Itō, Overlord is a Japanese anime series based on the light novels by Kugane Maruyama. Satoshi Hino voices Momonga, a powerful undead guild master who remains inside the game world of Yggdrasil after its shutdown and begins ruling from the Great Tomb of Nazarick. The series combines isekai fantasy, dark game-world adventure, magical battles and power-driven world-building.
