Patton is an epic American war film directed by Franklin J. Schaffner, portraying General George S. Pattons controversial leadership during World War II. Focused on strategy, ego, discipline, and military philosophy, the film presents war through command rooms, speeches, and moral conflict rather than frontline heroics. George C. Scotts performance won the Academy Award for Best Actor, though he famously refused it.
