Directed by John Erick Dowdle and starring Jennifer Carpenter, Quarantine follows a television reporter and her cameraman who become trapped inside a Los Angeles apartment building during a violent viral outbreak. Presented through found footage-style camerawork, the film combines claustrophobic horror, infection panic and survival tension as authorities seal the building from the outside world. The story reimagines the Spanish horror film REC through an American setting focused on escalating chaos and confinement.
