Directed by Paco Plaza, [REC]³: Genesis shifts the Spanish horror franchise from apartment-building confinement to a wedding celebration that descends into violent chaos during an outbreak of infection and possession. Starring Leticia Dolera and Diego Martín, the film combines splatter horror, survival panic and darkly comic escalation as guests become trapped inside the collapsing ceremony. The story expands the mythology of the REC franchise through larger-scale carnage, infected attacks and supernatural outbreak horror.
