Directed by Jaume Balagueró, [REC] 4: Apocalypse continues the Spanish horror franchise as survivor Ángela Vidal is transported to a quarantined ship while authorities attempt to contain the outbreak connected to the earlier films. Starring Manuela Velasco, the film combines infection horror, claustrophobic survival tension and supernatural outbreak mythology within an isolated maritime setting. The story expands the REC franchise through containment panic, violent infected attacks and escalating chaos aboard the vessel.
