Thirty years after the release of Stanley Kubricks The Shining, Rodney Aschers wry and provocative documentary fuses fact and fiction through interviews with both fanatics and scholars, creating a kaleidoscopic deconstruction of Kubricks still-controversial horror classic.

Released on Blu-ray for the first time in the UK, Room 237 is equal parts illuminating, mind-bending, eerie and oddly comic, drawing us into a new maze, one with endless detours and dead ends… many ways in, but no way out.
