Directed by Mark Jenkin, Rose of Nevada (2025) is a mysterious coastal drama following the reappearance of a fishing boat that vanished at sea thirty years earlier near a struggling Cornish village. Starring George MacKay and Callum Turner, the film blends time displacement, local folklore atmosphere and psychological uncertainty as a new crew discovers they may have slipped back into the past. Shot in Mark Jenkins distinctive handcrafted 16mm style, the story explores memory, identity, grief and the fading culture of working fishing communities.
