Japanese war drama written and directed by Shin'ya Tsukamoto. In the aftermath of WWII, a group of damaged people try to survive as best they can. A boy with no family steals food from the markets and is taken in by a woman who lost her son and her husband. They cross paths with a young teacher and a mysterious stranger who are both struggling to come to terms with their actions during the war. The cast includes Shuri, Ouga Tsukao, Mirai Moriyama and Hiroki Kono.
