Sleepy Hollow (2013 2017)

Developed by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Phillip Iscove and Len Wiseman, Sleepy Hollow reimagines Washington Irvings classic legend as a modern supernatural mystery series blending horror, fantasy and crime investigation. The story follows Ichabod Crane after he awakens in present-day America and teams with a police lieutenant to battle occult threats connected to the Headless Horseman and biblical prophecy. Combining supernatural mythology, procedural investigation and dark fantasy storytelling, the series expands the Sleepy Hollow legend through serialized mystery and apocalyptic conflict.

Från IMDB:
Ichabod Crane is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to unravel a mystery that dates all the way back to the founding fathers.
