Directed by Jeff Fowler, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022) continues the adaptation of Segas video game franchise as Sonic faces a new threat in the form of Knuckles, voiced by Idris Elba, alongside the returning Dr. Robotnik. The story expands the franchises world-building and introduces additional characters from the game series while maintaining its live-action and CGI hybrid format.
